2025 MAMA Awards to Be Held at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium in November
The 2025 MAMA Awards, one of the most prominent annual events in the K-pop industry, will be held at Hong Kong’s newly opened Kai Tak Stadium on November 28 and 29. This marks the first return of the MAMA Awards to Hong Kong since 2018, coinciding with Mnet’s 30th anniversary. Organizers highlighted that Hong Kong has historically been a major hub for the awards and the K-pop concert scene. This year’s ceremony is set to be significantly larger, with the scale increasing by about four times compared to previous years. The Kai Tak Stadium, which opened in March 2025, can accommodate up to 50,000 attendees, making it an ideal venue for such a large-scale event. CJ ENM, the organizing company, promises to deliver innovative performances and creative stage designs that will further establish the stadium as a landmark for entertainment in Hong Kong. Shin Hyung Kwan, head of CJ ENM’s Music Content Division, emphasized their commitment to recognizing artists and industry professionals who have made significant contributions to K-pop this year. He also expressed their intention to showcase K-pop’s global influence and deliver memorable moments through the unique technical and creative direction that the MAMA Awards are known for. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates as anticipation builds for this major event in the K-pop calendar.
