The BBC cited the family’s wishes as the reason for the delay, expressing sympathy for the Osbourne family during this difficult time. The documentary, which was initially meant to be part of a 10-part series, focuses on Osbourne’s final years, including his return to the UK, his farewell concert in July, and his death at 76 later that month. The film is described as a ‘moving and inspirational account’ of the star’s last chapter, offering intimate access to the Osbourne family, including Sharon, Jack, and Kelly. The documentary was originally conceived to track Ozzy and Sharon’s attempts to restart their lives in Buckinghamshire, but was reworked into an hour-long film due to Ozzy’s declining health. The BBC has not yet confirmed a new date for the film’s broadcast, and it was replaced by an episode of ‘Fake Or Fortune?’ on August 18.
