Billie Eilish Wins Seven Awards at 2025 AMAs, Leading All Artists
At the 2025 American Music Awards, Billie Eilish emerged as the top winner, securing victories in all seven categories for which she was nominated. Her awards included Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Album of the Year and Favorite Pop Album for ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’, Song of the Year and Favorite Pop Song for ‘Birds of a Feather’, and Favorite Touring Artist. This success comes after a disappointing year where she was overlooked at the Grammys despite seven nominations, and her album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars followed with three wins each, notably for their collaboration ‘Die With a Smile’. Other artists with multiple wins included Post Malone, SZA, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Eminem, and Twenty One Pilots. Notably, Taylor Swift did not win any awards despite six nominations, and newcomers like Chappell Roan and Shaboozey were also shut out. Gracie Abrams won New Artist of the Year.
The ceremony, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, took place at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The AMAs recognized achievements across various genres, with the most awards presented in the country and Latin categories. Awards were determined by fan interactions such as streaming, sales, and touring revenue, measured by Billboard and Luminate.
