Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs to miss tour dates due to prostate cancer treatment

Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of Oasis, has announced he will miss several upcoming tour dates following a prostate cancer diagnosis. Diagnosed earlier this year, Arthurs had initially managed to participate in the band’s comeback tour after responding well to treatment. However, he has now decided to take a break from performances in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney to focus on further medical care. Arthurs, 60, expressed regret at missing these shows but assured fans he is feeling well and plans to rejoin the band for their South America tour in November. This is his second battle with cancer, having recovered from tonsil cancer in 2022. His post on Instagram was addressed to fans, wishing those attending the current shows an amazing time and promising to return to the stage soon. Bonehead’s involvement is a significant element in the band’s reunion, having left Oasis in 1999 prior to this return.
