Olivia Dean and Lola Young Lead Nominations for 2026 Brit Awards with Five Each
The nominations for the 2026 Brit Awards have been announced, with Brit School graduates Olivia Dean and Lola Young each securing five nominations, making them the most nominated artists this year. Olivia Dean is recognized in categories including Album of the Year for ‘The Art Of Loving’, Artist of the Year, Best Pop Act, and twice in Song of the Year for ‘Man I Need’ and her collaboration ‘Rein Me In’ with Sam Fender. She will also perform at the ceremony. Lola Young earns nods for Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Artist, Best Alt/Rock Act, Best Pop Act, and Song of the Year for ‘Messy’. Other notable mentions include Pulp receiving their first Best Group nomination since 1996, and Sam Fender earning four nominations following his 2025 Mercury Prize win. Dave, Wolf Alice, Lily Allen, Fred again.., and Jim Legxacy each have three nominations. The international categories feature Hollywood influences with songs from ‘Wicked’ (Cynthia Erivo feat. Ariana Grande – ‘Defying Gravity’) and ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ in the International Song category, alongside major artists like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Bad Bunny competing in International Artist of the Year. The ceremony, marking the first time outside London, will take place on February 28, 2026, at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, broadcast live on ITV and ITVX.
