Olivia Dean Wins Big at the 2026 Brit Awards, Taking Home Four Major Trophies

Olivia Dean had a standout night at the 2026 Brit Awards, taking home four prestigious awards, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Act, and Song of the Year. Dean, a graduate of the Brit School, has become a major force in the UK music scene, even topping both the UK Official Singles and Albums Chart last year. Despite not winning the public-voted Song of the Year category for ‘Man I Need,’ she was featured in Sam Fender’s ‘Rein Me In,’ which earned the win in that category. Fender also had a successful night, winning Best Alternative/Rock Act for the second consecutive year. Lola Young, another Brit School alum, secured her first Brit Award in the Breakthrough Artist category, expressing gratitude for music as a source of solace in a ‘horrifyingly bleak’ world. The ceremony featured several live performances, including from Harry Styles, who opened the show with a debut live performance of tracks from his new album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.’ The award for Best Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act went to Dave, while Fred again.., Skepta, and PlaqueBoyMax’s won Best Dance Act. The evening concluded with a tribute performance to Ozzy Osbourne, who was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and a moving rendition of ‘No More Tears’ led by Robbie Williams.
