Bruce Springsteen to release seven unreleased albums from his archives

Bruce Springsteen is set to unveil seven previously unreleased albums from his vast archive, spanning from 1983 to 2018. These recordings, which offer an in-depth look at his career, include various stages of his musical journey. Notable releases include work tapes from the Born In The USA sessions and a 1990s experimental album featuring drum loops and synthesizers. The collection, titled ‘Tracks II: The Lost Albums’, will be available as a box set featuring 83 songs, 74 of which are completely new to listeners. Many of these tracks have circulated as bootlegs but will now be officially released in studio quality. Springsteen explained that the COVID-19 pandemic allowed him to finish working on these tracks. The box set includes a range of musical experiments, including a film soundtrack for a movie that was never made, a country-inspired album from 1995, and orchestrated pop songs from the same period as his 2018 album ‘Western Stars’. Fans can look forward to a deep dive into these lost musical chapters when the collection is released in June. As a preview, Springsteen has already shared ‘Rain In The River’ from the ‘Perfect World’ album, showcasing the raw energy of his E Street Band.
