Nile Rodgers Curates Exhibition at New David Bowie Centre in London

Nile Rodgers, the famous musician and producer from Chic, has been chosen to guest-curate a new exhibition at the David Bowie Centre in London. The exhibition, located at the V&A Museum’s new East Storehouse in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, features an array of personal items, including exclusive correspondence between Rodgers and David Bowie. The show includes a bespoke Peter Hall suit worn by Bowie during his Serious Moonlight tour and photographs of the two artists recording the iconic album *Let’s Dance* in New York. The exhibit also showcases costumes from Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust era, as well as outfits worn by other music legends such as Elton John and PJ Harvey. Additionally, some personal items curated by The Last Dinner Party, a Brit Award-winning band, are also part of the exhibition. These items include handwritten lyrics for Bowie’s song *Win* and memorabilia from his 1976 *Isolar* tour. Rodgers, who produced some of Bowie’s most successful works, shared that his creative partnership with Bowie was one of the most rewarding parts of his career. The David Bowie Centre will open on September 13, and entry will be free, with tickets available closer to the opening date.
