The decision came after Kushner opened up about his struggles with anxiety, which led to the cancellation of his Manchester performance on Monday evening. During a show in Newcastle on Friday, Kushner became emotional on stage, informing fans about his anxiety before cutting the performance short. The artist, who has nearly 16 million monthly listeners on Spotify, expressed his difficulty in making this decision and apologized to his fans for the disappointment. The NHS reports that anxiety rates among young adults have increased significantly since 2000, with 34% of people aged 18 to 24 reporting symptoms of mental disorders in 2021/22.
