Disturbed to Perform ‘The Sickness’ Album in Full on 2027 Australian Tour
Disturbed, the Chicago-based nu-metal band, has announced their first Australian headline tour in over a decade, set to take place in April and May 2027. The band will perform their seminal 2000 debut album ‘The Sickness’ in its entirety, followed by a second set of their greatest hits. The tour will include five arena shows across Australia, starting in Brisbane on April 28 and concluding in Perth on May 9. Additionally, two New Zealand dates in Auckland and Christchurch will be added, marking their first headline tour in both countries in over 10 years. The announcement follows their successful ‘The Sickness’ anniversary tour across North America, the UK, and Europe, which drew over half a million fans. ‘The Sickness’ has been certified five-times platinum in the US and spent 106 weeks on the Billboard 200. The band’s latest single, ‘I Will Not Break,’ recently topped the Mediabase Active Rock Chart for the 19th time, while ‘Down With The Sickness’ and their cover of ‘The Sound Of Silence’ have each surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. Disturbed has sold over 17 million records and accumulated nearly 14 billion streams throughout their career. Tickets for the Australian leg of the tour will go on sale to the general public on October 30, 2026, with presales starting on October 28 and 29. The band’s return to Australia promises to be a major event for fans of nu-metal and the band’s iconic debut album.
