UK’s Remember Monday Reflects on Eurovision Journey After Jury Success and Public Vote Setback

The UK’s Eurovision 2025 representatives, Remember Monday, an all-female trio from Surrey and Hampshire, described their participation in the contest as a life-changing experience. Despite receiving zero points from the public vote, the group finished 19th overall, thanks to a strong showing with 88 points from national juries. Comprised of Holly-Anne Hull, Charlotte Steele, and Lauren Byrne, the trio co-wrote and performed their entry ‘What The Hell Just Happened?’ in the grand final held in Basel, Switzerland. The group, which formed over a decade ago while studying performing arts at sixth-form college in Farnborough, were the first UK girl group to compete in Eurovision since 1999. They expressed gratitude for the fan support, streaming success, and the emotional high of performing on such a global stage. Looking ahead, Remember Monday plans to release new music, embark on a headline tour across the UK and Ireland, and perform at major events, including Wembley Stadium’s Summertime Ball. Austria’s JJ won the competition with his heartfelt ballad ‘Wasted Love’, while Israel’s Yuval Raphael secured second place. The group remains optimistic about their future in the music industry, viewing Eurovision as just the beginning of their journey.
