Oasis Fan Dies After Falling at Wembley Concert; Family Pays Tribute
Lee Claydon, a fan of the band Oasis from Bournemouth, tragically died after falling from an upper tier at Wembley Stadium during the band’s concert. The incident occurred during one of the seven sold-out reunion shows as part of Oasis Live ’25 tour. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by medics, police, and the London Ambulance Service. His family has described him as a loving family man and have expressed deep shock and devastation over the sudden loss. His brother Aaron set up a GoFundMe page to support Lee’s partner and sons, raising over £4,500. Oasis expressed their condolences and stated they were shocked and saddened by the event. Police say the stadium was busy at the time, and some attendees may have witnessed the fall or recorded it on mobile phones. The family is receiving support from specially trained officers. The band will continue their tour with upcoming concerts at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and other international venues before returning to Wembley in late September.
