Fat Joe Faces $20 Million Federal Lawsuit From Former Hypeman Alleging Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Unpaid Contributions

Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, who served as Fat Joe’s hypeman for 16 years, has filed a federal lawsuit against the rapper (real name Joseph Antonio Cartagena) in the Southern District of New York, seeking up to $20 million in damages. Dixon alleges a pattern of coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, intimidation, and psychological abuse during his tenure with Fat Joe. The complaint, spanning 157 pages and including a trigger warning, details disturbing accusations of the rapper engaging in sexual acts with minors and coercing Dixon into more than 4,000 sexual acts, often under surveillance and threat of abandonment or harm.
