New Bruce Springsteen Biopic Explores Making of ‘Nebraska’ Album

The upcoming biopic *Deliver Me From Nowhere* delves into Bruce Springsteen’s creative process during the making of his 1982 acoustic album *Nebraska*. The film stars Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen and features a cast including Jeremy Strong, David Krumholtz, Paul Walter Hauser, and Stephen Graham. The newly released trailer offers scenes from Springsteen’s personal and musical life, including his early home recordings, strained relationship with his father, a romantic subplot with a woman named Faye (played by Odessa Young), and energetic live performances. One key scene portrays his recording sessions with engineer Mike Batlan, where Springsteen insists on preserving rawness over perfection. Director Scott Cooper, who also wrote the screenplay based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book, emphasized the emotional depth and artistic vulnerability that the film aims to convey. Production began in October, with Springsteen himself visiting the set in New Jersey. A standout moment from the trailer shows the rock legend choosing his first car, a Chevrolet Camaro. The film is set to premiere in theaters on October 24.
