He described a four-month manic episode in early 2025 that caused psychotic, paranoid, and impulsive behavior, leading to severe personal consequences and detachment from his true self. West stated that he has begun focusing on positive creative work and meaningful change, committing to accountability and treatment. The rapper emphasized his love for Jewish people and requested patience and understanding as he seeks to recover and rebuild. His message reflects his efforts to publicly take responsibility for past actions while addressing mental health challenges that influenced his behavior.
