Olivia Rodrigo Announces Live Album from Glastonbury Featuring Performances with Robert Smith

Olivia Rodrigo has released two live recordings featuring The Cure’s Robert Smith from her headline set at Glastonbury this past June, ahead of her upcoming live album. Rodrigo and Smith performed classic Cure tracks, “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven,” which are now available on streaming platforms. A video of “Friday I’m in Love” has also been posted on Rodrigo’s YouTube channel. All proceeds from these performances will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. Rodrigo’s upcoming album, Live From Glastonbury (A BBC Recording), includes 20 tracks spanning hits from her 2021 debut album ‘Sour’ and her 2023 follow-up ‘Guts.’ The album will be released on December 5 as a double-LP on colored transparent vinyl and will simultaneously hit streaming services. Beyond Glastonbury, Rodrigo has had notable festival performances this year, including guest appearances by Weezer at Lollapalooza and David Byrne at Governors Ball. Her Glastonbury set was widely praised, and Robert Smith’s participation received particular attention. This release continues Rodrigo’s extensive touring and showcases her collaborations with iconic artists.
