The Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex in Jakarta, Indonesia, has prepared several parking areas to accommodate the expected influx of visitors for various events taking place over the weekend of October 24-25, 2026. The events include the Kanye West concert titled ‘Ye Live in Jakarta,’ the Jakarta Running Festival (JRF) 2026, the BSI Expo, Agrinex Expo, and the Bango Food Festival held in the GBK City Forest area. The GBK complex anticipates approximately 130,000 visitors on Saturday, with congestion expected from 3:00 AM to 12:00 AM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) due to the simultaneous events. Parking areas have been designated for different events: Unas graduation and BSI/Agrinex Expo attendees can use Block 15 and the former Sultan Hotel area. JRF participants should access through Gate 5 and Gate 6 between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. For the Kanye West concert, parking is available at Tennis Center Court, Basketball Hall, Indonesia Arena, and Fields A, B, and C, with access through Gates 2, 5, 6, 7, and 10 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. On Sunday, BSI and Agrinex Expo visitors can use South Parking, East North Parking, East South Parking, and elevated parking A and B, with access through Gates 2, 5, 6, 7, and 10 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Authorities recommend using public transportation or park-and-ride facilities to avoid traffic congestion. Free shuttle buses are available within the complex, though wait times may vary based on traffic and crowd levels. Visitors are urged to plan their travel early, confirm their parking location according to the event they are attending, and follow on-site staff directions to prevent congestion and ensure smooth movement throughout the GBK area.
