Liam Payne’s Estate Valued at Over £24 Million Following His Death

Liam Payne, former One Direction singer, passed away in October last year at the age of 31 in Argentina without leaving a will. Official probate records reveal that he left behind an estate valued at approximately £28.6 million gross, which after debts and expenses was reduced to £24.3 million. As Payne did not marry, his nine-year-old son Bear, whom he had with former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl, is the primary heir under inheritance laws. Cheryl and music industry lawyer Richard Bray have been appointed as administrators of Payne’s estate. However, their authority is currently limited, allowing them only to preserve the estate until a full grant of representation is granted. Payne died tragically after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. Legal proceedings related to his death saw criminal negligence charges dropped against three of five individuals involved. His sudden death deeply affected fans and the music community, as One Direction was one of the most successful pop groups of the 2010s. The management of his substantial estate remains ongoing under the appointed administrators.
