Lil Nas X Hospitalized for Suspected Overdose and Arrested After Police Confrontation in Los Angeles

Rapper Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was arrested early on August 21, 2025, in Los Angeles after a police report of a nearly naked man walking on Ventura Boulevard. Officers allege that Lil Nas X charged at them when they arrived. The singer was taken to a hospital for treatment related to a suspected drug overdose and subsequently arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery on a police officer. Video footage showed him walking in white underwear and cowboy boots, singing on the street. After spending a few hours in the hospital, he was booked and held in jail.
