Kameron Carter Debuts on Billboard Charts with Lil Wayne Collaboration

Kameron Carter, the 15-year-old son of rapper Lil Wayne and actress Lauren London, has earned his first spot on a Billboard chart. The young artist features on the track “Rari,” a song from his father’s newly released album, *Tha Carter VI*. The track debuted at No. 47 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which takes into account streaming, sales, and radio airplay data across the United States.

Lil Wayne, a veteran and prolific figure in hip-hop, released *Tha Carter VI* without promoting individual singles in advance, sparking heightened interest in all tracks from the album. This strategy led to a strong showing, with 17 songs from the album landing on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart simultaneously. Among them is “Hip-Hop,” featuring BigXthaPlug and Jay Jones, which entered at No. 8, giving Wayne his 53rd top 10 hit on that chart.

Over his career, Lil Wayne has achieved 234 charting songs and 12 No. 1s on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list. Kameron Carter’s appearance marks the continuation of a musical legacy, adding a personal dimension to this milestone album for his father.
