My Chemical Romance expands UK tour with new dates in Liverpool and Glasgow

My Chemical Romance has announced additional shows for their UK tour, set to take place in 2026. After the initial announcement of two nights at Wembley Stadium to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their third album, *Welcome to the Black Parade*, the band has added new dates to their schedule. They will perform at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 30, marking their first visit to the city since 2006. The group will then head to Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on July 4, 2026. The band also added a third Wembley Stadium show on July 8 after the first two sold out. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale this Friday at noon. Along with these UK dates, My Chemical Romance has also announced new concerts across North America, with previously confirmed tours for South America and Asia. *The Black Parade*, the band’s rock opera concept album released in 2006, achieved critical and commercial success, going multi-platinum in both the US and the UK. After disbanding in 2013, the group reunited in 2019 and began touring again in 2022, after delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Their North American tour earlier this year sold over 450,000 tickets, garnering praise from critics. Bellahouston Park, which hosts summer gigs in Glasgow, recently saw disruptions due to a workers’ strike affecting shows by artists like Sting and Simple Minds.
