Oasis fans scammed by fake ticket sales for Cardiff concert

Dozens of Oasis fans were left devastated and angry after purchasing what they believed were legitimate tickets for a private box at the band’s Cardiff concert, only to find that the tickets were fake. The scam was allegedly orchestrated by David Gray, a Pembrokeshire-based business owner, who took payments ranging from £500 to £1,200 per ticket. Victims, including Neil Stephens and Mark Bonnici, said that Mr. Gray had promised the tickets but failed to deliver. They were told by Gray that technical issues with his phone were preventing ticket transfers, and when they attempted to meet him in person, he was nowhere to be found. It became evident that many others had also fallen victim to the scam, with some paying for tickets that did not exist. Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating the incident, but Mr. Gray has not responded to attempts for comment. As a result of the scam, fans were left out of a sold-out concert and are now determined to see Oasis live in another location. This unfortunate situation has left many fans feeling not only financially cheated but also emotionally devastated.
