Sharon Osbourne Opens Ozzy Osbourne’s Exhibition in Birmingham

Sharon Osbourne recently opened a special exhibition celebrating the career of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. The exhibition, titled ‘The Working Class Hero’, showcases Ozzy’s iconic journey from his humble beginnings in Aston, Birmingham, to international superstardom. The exhibition includes Ozzy’s Grammy Awards, platinum discs, and rare photographs and videos documenting his rise to fame. Sharon shared that Ozzy was deeply moved by the outpouring of love from his hometown, as he prepares for Black Sabbath’s highly anticipated final reunion concert at Villa Park next month. She emphasized that it felt right for the exhibition to launch in Birmingham, where Black Sabbath was formed in 1968, rather than in cities like New York or Los Angeles. Despite Ozzy’s recent health challenges, including Parkinson’s disease and spinal injuries, Sharon remains optimistic about the upcoming concert, believing that the crowd will provide the energy and support he needs to deliver an unforgettable performance. The exhibition will run until 28th September, and Sharon hopes it will inspire young people from Birmingham to pursue their dreams, just as Ozzy did. She reflected on how many doubted Ozzy’s potential, expecting him to end up working in a factory, but he defied expectations and achieved incredible success in the music industry.
