Phoebe Bridgers Hosts Planetarium Album Preview for ‘Lost Weekend’ Album Release
Phoebe Bridgers is set to unveil her third solo album, ‘Lost Weekend,’ through a series of immersive planetarium events across Australia and New Zealand. The album, released via Dead Oceans on August 14, 2026, will be paired with two unique visual experiences: a custom dome show by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi and an immersive laser display by Laser Fantasy. Events will take place in Auckland, Dunedin, Melbourne, Wellington, and Wollongong from August 10 to August 14, with ticket holders required to surrender phones and recording devices in Yondr pouches. The planetarium screenings complement a global launch week featuring over 300 midnight release parties on August 13. ‘Lost Weekend’ marks Bridgers’ first solo album since 2020’s ‘Punisher’ and follows her 2017 debut ‘Stranger in the Alps.’ The lead single, ‘Lost Boys,’ debuted in June and features a music video set at a Renaissance fair, directed by Lance Oppenheim and Pablo Rochat. Fans can pre-save the album ahead of its release date.
