UK Eurovision Singer Holly-Anne Hull Loses Wedding Ring After Performance in Basel

Holly-Anne Hull, a member of the UK’s Eurovision 2025 entry Remember Monday, announced she lost both her wedding and engagement rings following the group’s performance in Basel, Switzerland. In an Instagram video shared the morning after the event, Hull is seen on a plane with her bandmates, Charlotte Steele and Lauren Byrne, joking about the loss while also referencing the lyrics of their Eurovision song. The trio represented the UK with their country-pop song ‘What The Hell Just Happened’, which placed 19th out of 26. Despite not receiving any public votes, the group earned 88 jury points and even received 12 points from Italy, finishing joint 10th in the jury vote. The winning act was Austria’s JJ with the song ‘Wasted Love’, followed closely by Israel and Estonia. Known for their harmonies and musical theatre background, Remember Monday performed in colorful Bridgerton-style costumes and danced around a giant chandelier. Although their result disappointed fans, critics praised their musical precision. The trio, friends since sixth-form college, quit their jobs in 2023 to pursue the band full-time. They are now preparing for a UK and Ireland tour and appearances at major festivals this summer, calling their Eurovision night a surreal and emotional experience.
