Richard Ashcroft confirms Englefield Estate 2026 concert with Shed Seven, Tom Meighan and The Kairos
Richard Ashcroft has announced an additional stop on his upcoming 2026 summer tour, set to take place at Englefield Estate in Berkshire on July 24. This show positions him as the first headliner confirmed for the Heritage Live Festivals’ 2026 program. The former Verve frontman is preparing to release his seventh solo studio album, ‘Lovin’ You,’ on October 3, 2025. This has already sparked high demand for tickets to his concerts, leading to multiple dates being added to the tour schedule. His upcoming shows will take him across major UK cities including Cardiff, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and Newcastle, with performances stretching into next summer.
Joining Ashcroft at the Englefield Estate are Shed Seven, Tom Meighan, and The Kairos. Shed Seven, who rose to prominence during the Britpop era, recently reissued their 1994 debut ‘Change Giver.’ They also hit a milestone in 2024 with their albums ‘Liquid Gold’ and ‘A Matter Of Time’ both topping the UK charts, making them one of only 20 artists to score two Number One albums in the same year. Tom Meighan, formerly of Kasabian, will also appear, continuing his career as a solo artist after releasing his debut album ‘The Reckoning’ in 2023 and speaking candidly about his personal struggles and past controversies. The Kairos, a Liverpool-based band, will open the show after building momentum through support slots with various British acts.
News of this big event follows Ashcroft’s recent stint opening for Oasis on their Live ’25 reunion tour. That leg gained attention after a viral moment involving one of his most famous songs, ‘Bittersweet Symphony,’ showed his enduring relevance. With a new album imminent and a full tour booked, Ashcroft seems set to continue his strong presence in the UK music scene well into 2026.
