Robert Trujillo Reflects on Ozzy Osbourne’s Beautiful and Emotional Funeral Service
Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo recently shared his memories of Ozzy Osbourne’s private funeral service held on July 31, 2025. Describing the service as ‘very, very beautiful,’ Trujillo recalled moments of deep emotion, humor, and poignant eulogies. Notably, when Geezer Butler delivered his eulogy, the sun suddenly broke through the clouds, a moment that Trujillo found magical. The service was filled with tears, but also laughter as guests shared memories and stories of the late icon. Trujillo expressed gratitude for attending, alongside his wife, Chloe, saying it was a deeply emotional and meaningful experience. Fans also mourned Osbourne’s passing in his hometown of Birmingham, where the funeral cortege made an emotional stop on July 30, 2025.
