Seventeen’s Hoshi and Woozi announce military enlistment dates

Seventeen’s members Hoshi and Woozi will begin their mandatory military service in September, as confirmed by their agency Pledis Entertainment. Woozi is set to enlist on September 15, while Hoshi will follow on September 16. Prior to their enlistment, both artists will engage in their final official activities, including the ‘HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING] ’ and the SEVENTEEN 5th Studio Album Yizhiyu video call fan signing event. After enlisting, Hoshi and Woozi will temporarily withdraw from group activities but will stay in touch with fans via pre-recorded content. Pledis Entertainment also requested that fans refrain from attending the military site in person and instead send messages via Weverse. The agency emphasized their ongoing support for the artists during this period and hopes for a safe and healthy return. Hoshi and Woozi, also known as HxW, are part of Seventeen’s third subunit, which debuted earlier this year with the album ‘Beam.’ Currently, members Jeonghan and Wonwoo are also serving in the military, as part of the group’s mandatory service rotation.
