Beyoncé pauses concert after flying Cadillac prop malfunctions

During her performance in Houston on Saturday, Beyoncé was forced to pause her show when a stage prop, a flying red Cadillac, began to tilt mid-air. The vehicle, suspended by cables, was supposed to carry the superstar above her audience towards the end of her performance. However, as it started to tilt, Beyoncé clung to a flagpole for support. The situation prompted her to halt the song, ‘16 Carriages’, and call for the show to stop. The audience gasped in shock, but cheered when Beyoncé was safely lowered to the ground. She reassured fans with a smile, saying, ‘If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.’ Parkwood Entertainment later confirmed that a ‘technical mishap’ caused the malfunction and assured fans that no one was injured. This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has dealt with a prop malfunction. Previous shows have also seen issues, such as a robot missing its mark or a broken moving platform. The incident occurred during the 23rd stop of her Cowboy Carter tour, which continues to garner praise for its high-energy performances and star-studded moments.
