Taylor Swift releases ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ with Sabrina Carpenter collaboration

Taylor Swift has launched her 12th studio album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl,’ while visiting the UK. The album features 12 tracks and includes a collaboration with US pop star Sabrina Carpenter on the title track. Produced by long-time collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, the record was written during the European leg of Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour. On the release day, Swift also premiered ‘The Official Release Party Of A Showgirl’ in cinemas, an 89-minute film featuring the music video for ‘The Fate Of Ophelia,’ behind-the-scenes footage, and lyric videos. Swift will appear on the Capital Breakfast show at 8am and The Graham Norton Show in the evening, where she discussed promoting her album and her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce. During the interview, she described Kelce’s proposal as elaborate and memorable, noting he built a garden for the occasion. Swift emphasized that she wants to focus on album promotion first, with wedding planning to follow. ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is Swift’s first release since publicly announcing her engagement in August 2025.
