Desingerica criticizes Eurovision, calls competition unfair despite liking the winning song

Serbian rapper and artist Desingerica openly criticized this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, calling it unfair and rigged. Speaking during the filming of the music competition show ‘Pinkove zvezde,’ Desingerica expressed that while he enjoyed the winning song and had predicted its victory even before the final, he has no interest in participating in Eurovision himself. He emphasized that the contest does not guarantee long-term success or popularity, arguing that winning a competition song does not necessarily translate into a sustainable music career or revenue. Desingerica also stated that although he has the talent to perform at Eurovision, the atmosphere and the perceived lack of fairness deter him from competing. He described the competition as a ‘devilish job’ and insisted that it is beneath his honor to participate. Despite his criticism, Desingerica acknowledged the quality of this year’s winning entry, contrasting it with other performances that, in his opinion, lacked distinction.
