Woody Cook to Perform DJ Set in Brighton During His Charity Walk to Glastonbury

DJ Woody Cook, son of renowned DJ Fatboy Slim and BBC presenter Zoe Ball, is currently walking from Dover in Kent to Pilton in Somerset to raise funds for five environmental and humanitarian charities: Music Venue Trust, Greenpeace, WaterAid, Oxfam, and The Wildlife Trusts. As part of the 21-day journey, which spans over a dozen towns and cities, he will perform a live DJ set at The Tempest in Brighton, his hometown. The 24-year-old shared that the first 90 miles of the walk have been scenic, although the group has dealt with blisters, food shortages, and mixed weather including heat, rain, and wind. He emphasized that despite the physical demands, the experience has been positive. Cook highlighted the importance of grassroots music venues and expressed hope that his father might join them soon for support. This walking challenge is set to conclude on June 24 in Somerset, near the site of the Glastonbury Festival, with the ultimate aim of raising awareness and funds for causes close to his heart.
