Yungblud pauses tour for health reasons, apologizes to fans

Rock star Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, has announced a break from his ongoing Idols World Tour due to health concerns, following advice from his doctor. The 28-year-old singer, known for his hits like ‘I Think I’m Okay’ and ‘Fleabag’, stated that he needs to prioritize his health after issues with his voice and blood tests. In an emotional social media post, he shared that it is difficult for him to cancel shows in cities such as Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Washington, but emphasized that his health must come first. Yungblud expressed regret over disappointing his fans but promised to make it up to them in the future. He has had a busy year with his album ‘Idols’, which was released in June, and a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for his single ‘Zombie’. He also received a nomination for his performance at Black Sabbath’s farewell concert. Known for creating BludFest, a festival offering affordable tickets, Yungblud is also a three-time UK number one album artist and was awarded Disruptor of the Year at the Nordoff and Robbins Northern Music Awards earlier this year.
