Zayn Malik Cancels U.S. Tour Amid Health Recovery
Zayn Malik, former One Direction member, has canceled all U.S. dates for his 2026 ‘Konnakol’ tour following hospitalization due to an unspecified illness. The album ‘Konnakol’ was released on April 17, 2026. Despite the U.S. cancellations, his U.K. and Mexico tour dates later this month remain scheduled. Malik expressed gratitude to fans on Instagram for their support and explained the need to adjust his tour schedule to focus on recovery. Earlier this year, Malik’s Las Vegas residency was well received, though ticket sales for the U.S. tour were reportedly slow. In addition, his Dublin and Birmingham performances were canceled. While no details about his illness were shared, family members asked supporters to redirect flower deliveries to charity, specifically the Palestine Project. Malik has kept a low profile since his hospitalization, which led to canceling an album listening and Q&A session in Kingston, U.K., on April 13. Malik left One Direction in 2015, and the group continued until Liam Payne’s death in 2024. The singer emphasized his commitment to returning to performing when healthy and thanked fans and hospital staff for their understanding and support.
