Del Water Gap to Release New Album ‘Chasing the Chimera’ in November
Del Water Gap is set to release his third studio album, ‘Chasing the Chimera,’ on November 7, 2025. The album represents the artist’s journey inward, reflecting on themes such as morality, validation, and self-perception. ‘Chasing the Chimera’ follows his 2023 album, ‘I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet.’ Ahead of the full release, the singer-songwriter shared two singles, ‘How to Live’ and ‘Marigolds.’ The latter track was inspired by an unforgettable experience during the LA fires, offering a reflection on regret, nostalgia, and the dissonance between internal experiences and the chaotic outside world. The album was co-produced with Gabe Goodman and Jonathan Wilson, both of whom have previously worked with Del Water Gap. The full tracklist includes ‘Marigolds,’ ‘Small Town Joan of Arc,’ ‘How to Live,’ and others, highlighting the artist’s introspective exploration. With themes of personal growth, regret, and understanding, ‘Chasing the Chimera’ promises to resonate with listeners seeking authenticity and emotional depth in music.
