Dolly Parton has postponed the start of her Las Vegas residency, initially scheduled for December 2025, due to ongoing health issues. The 79-year-old country music icon explained that she needs time for medical procedures and to recover before she can rehearse for her performances. In a heartfelt social media post, Parton reassured her fans that this delay does not signal her retirement, humorously adding that God hasn’t told her to stop yet. The Las Vegas residency, which would have marked her first time performing in the city since the 1990s, is now rescheduled for September 2026. The six-date concert series at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is expected to feature classic hits like ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘Jolene’, and ‘9 to 5’. Tickets purchased for the original dates will remain valid for the rescheduled shows, and fans who wish to receive a refund can do so.
