The Cure, Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris confirmed as 2026 Isle of Wight Festival headliners

The Isle of Wight Festival has revealed its line-up for 2026, with The Cure, Lewis Capaldi, and Calvin Harris announced as the main headliners. The four-day event will be held from 18 to 21 June at Seaclose Park in Newport. Capaldi will perform on Friday, followed by Harris on Saturday, while The Cure will close the festival on Sunday. Alongside them, several high-profile acts have been added to the bill, including a version of the Sex Pistols fronted by Frank Carter, British indie groups The Last Dinner Party and Wet Leg, and American singer Teddy Swims. Other notable names include reunited pop group Five, indie band The Kooks, singer Tom Grennan, and Britpop veterans Shed Seven. The return of The Cure to the UK stage is particularly significant, as the band released ‘Songs Of A Lost World’, their first album in sixteen years, in 2024. It will be their only confirmed UK appearance for 2026 so far. Lewis Capaldi’s place in the line-up also marks an important stage in his comeback after a two-year break from live performances, during which he took time off following difficulties at his 2023 Glastonbury set linked to symptoms of Tourette syndrome. Festival director Caroline Giddings described the program as one of the best yet, highlighting the balance between legacy acts and rising stars as central to the festival’s identity. Tickets will go on sale starting 1 October through the festival’s website.
