Irish Band Kodaline to Release Final Album Before Disbanding

Irish rock band Kodaline, known for hits such as ‘All I Want’ and ‘High Hopes,’ has announced they will be splitting up after more than ten years together. The Dublin-based group, originally called 21 Demands, changed their name to Kodaline in 2012 to mark a shift in their musical style. They achieved significant success with their debut album, ‘In A Perfect World,’ which reached number three in the UK and topped charts in Ireland. Their subsequent albums also performed well, with ‘Coming Up For Air’ and ‘Politics Of Living’ both reaching number one on Irish charts, and their fourth album ‘One Day At A Time’ peaking at number two in 2020. Kodaline has toured extensively and performed at major music festivals like Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds. The band members—Steve Garrigan, Vincent May, Mark Prendergast, and Jason Boland—expressed gratitude for their journey and fans’ support. They plan to record a fifth and final album before officially disbanding, aiming to end their career on a high note and leave a lasting musical legacy.
