Melbourne Artist IVANA Inks International Deal with Berlin-Based Label Place Called Home

Melbourne-based singer and songwriter IVANA, known for her appearance as a top 10 finalist on the ninth season of Australian Idol, has signed a global record deal with the German dance music label Place Called Home (PCH). This marks a significant step in her transition from reality TV to the international music scene. To commemorate the signing, PCH has released IVANA’s new single ‘Burning,’ a polished pop track aimed at dancefloors worldwide. In 2024, IVANA independently released three singles, including ‘Ooh La La La,’ produced by DNA Songs, which garnered over 200,000 streams and was performed live at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards. Her subsequent releases, ‘Beating Heart’ and ‘Liar Liar,’ further established her presence, with ‘Liar Liar’ surpassing 1.5 million streams. Place Called Home, founded in Berlin and operational since 2018, has grown from a music management firm into a multifaceted company encompassing artist management, music publishing, and label operations. The label emphasizes creative freedom and data-driven strategies, supporting a diverse roster of artists and producers. IVANA will promote her latest single with launch shows in Melbourne and Sydney at the end of June, signaling her entry into the global pop and dance music market.
