Kelly Osbourne mourns the loss of her father, Ozzy Osbourne
Kelly Osbourne has shared her deep sorrow following the death of her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at the age of 76. His death came only a few weeks after a significant performance with Black Sabbath at their farewell show in Birmingham, a moment made even more poignant for Kelly as she got engaged backstage to her long-time partner Sid Wilson. The Osbourne family was present to support Ozzy during his final performance, with famous musicians such as Ronnie Wood, Metallica, and Guns N’ Roses joining the stage. Ozzy, the frontman of Black Sabbath, is widely recognized for pioneering heavy metal. Kelly expressed her grief on social media by quoting the lyrics of ‘Changes,’ a song she and her father had released together in 2003. The father-daughter duo were known for their close bond, frequently appearing on the MTV reality show ‘The Osbournes.’ In a family statement released after his death, the Osbourne family described Ozzy’s passing as deeply sorrowful, stating that he died surrounded by loved ones. The cause of death has not been specified, but Ozzy had been battling various health issues, including Parkinson’s disease since 2019.
