Lil Nas X arraigned on felony charges following LA incident

Rapper Lil Nas X, legally known as Montero Lamar Hill, has pleaded not guilty to four felony charges following an unusual incident in Los Angeles. The 26-year-old artist faces three felony counts of battery with injury to a police officer and one count of resisting arrest. Authorities reported that he was found wandering the streets in his underwear and allegedly charged at police officers when they responded. After the incident, he was taken to the hospital for a possible overdose. Lil Nas X was arraigned in a Los Angeles courthouse with bail set at $75,000. Unverified videos circulating online reportedly show the rapper dancing on a Studio City street wearing only white underwear and cowboy boots. Despite the legal challenges, Lil Nas X continues to work on his music, teasing new tracks on Instagram and preparing to release his second studio album, Dreamboy, later this year. He remains a groundbreaking figure in music, known for becoming the first openly gay man to win a Country Music Association award for ‘Old Town Road,’ which also earned two Grammys and set a Billboard Hot 100 record for the longest-running number one song.
