Lily Allen to Headline Boardmasters 2026, Performing West End Girl Album in Full
British singer Lily Allen has been announced as a headliner for the Boardmasters festival, taking place from 5 to 9 August 2026 in Newquay, Cornwall. She will perform her critically acclaimed 2025 album ‘West End Girl’ in its entirety during her set. The album, her first major release in more than seven years, offers a candid and brutally honest portrayal of the breakdown of her marriage to actor David Harbour, known for his role in Stranger Things. Released in October 2025, it achieved significant commercial success, peaking at number two on the UK Official Charts and generating widespread discussion through its raw lyrics, which inspired numerous memes and viral content online. The record has earned Allen three nominations at the upcoming Brit Awards, including Artist of the Year. Her Boardmasters appearance joins her alongside other headliners DJ Fatboy Slim and rock band Kasabian. Additional artists recently added to the line-up include Joy Crookes, Rose Gray, and Jacob Alon, winner of the Brits’ Critics’ Choice award. The festival, expecting over 50,000 attendees, already features confirmed acts such as The Kooks, Loyle Carner, and Tinie Tempah. Allen’s year is packed with activity: she has expanded her tour from smaller venues to arenas due to high demand and is also set to co-headline the Mighty Hoopla festival in London with Scissor Sisters in May 2026. Her return to music with this personal project has been described as both ‘vicious’ and ‘raw,’ resonating strongly with fans and critics alike.
