Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Guns N’ Roses to headline 2026 Download Festival
Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Guns N’ Roses have been announced as the headliners for the 2026 Download Festival. The rock and metal festival will take place at Donington Park, Leicestershire, from June 10 to 14, and feature over 90 acts. Other notable performers include Pendulum, Cypress Hill, Babymetal, and Black Veil Brides, with heavyweights like Trivium, Mastodon, and Architects also on the lineup. Linkin Park’s participation marks a historic moment as they become the first female-fronted band to headline the festival, with Emily Armstrong joining as the new lead singer following Chester Bennington’s tragic death in 2017. Despite some controversy surrounding Armstrong’s past, including connections to the Church of Scientology and past associations with convicted rapist Danny Masterson, Linkin Park remains steadfast in their decision. The festival will also see Limp Bizkit headline for the first time and Guns N’ Roses return to the stage amid their ongoing world tour. The event, spanning multiple rock and metal genres, will also feature surprise pop acts, including the Vengaboys in 2024 and Dogstar, the band formed by actor Keanu Reeves, in 2026.
