Meltmode, a prominent figure in Thailand’s house music scene, has released his latest EP, ‘Echoes of Time,’ through the Australian label Make A Dance. The collaboration between Meltmode and Make A Dance began in Bangkok, with the two having met during a Pissawong Records event, which Meltmode co-founded. The EP presents a fusion of vintage Thai musical elements and contemporary house beats, establishing Meltmode as a key figure in the burgeoning Thai house movement. With five tracks, ‘Echoes of Time’ showcases Meltmode’s ability to blend infectious grooves, subtle ear-catching details, and traditional Thai samples, setting a high standard for Thai House. The track ‘Pong Prai’ stands out for its deep Thai cultural influence, beginning with a three-minute atmospheric intro before transitioning into an expansive 10-minute groove.
