Although the Ottawa concert went ahead as planned, the singer’s team is taking no chances regarding his security. The threat in Ottawa referenced an attempt to shoot Morrissey during his performance. Morrissey, who is on a world tour, has upcoming shows in Philadelphia and other US cities, with a performance in Mexico scheduled for October 31. This decision comes just days after a deadly shooting at a conservative event in Utah, adding to the tension surrounding the singer’s safety concerns.
