Nigerian DJs Union suspend Burna Boy’s music after clash with DJ Tunez, start investigation
The Nigerian DJs Association (NDJ) don suspend Burna Boy music from their members’ playlists after him and DJ Tunez reportedly get physical quarrel for Lagos. According to wetin Premium Times gather, the wahala happen on Monday night during one popular Afrobeats event. Burna Boy, wey be the Grammy-winning singer, and DJ Tunez, wey dey Wizkid camp, allegedly exchange harsh words before the matter turn fight. Some eyewitness talk say Burna Boy team members enter the matter before people around separate them make e no worse. The next day, NDJ release one official statement for Facebook say dem don ban Burna Boy songs temporarily for all their members till dem finish proper investigation. The association say the action dey to protect DJs’ dignity and unity for the entertainment industry. Dem also preach tolerance, respect and professionalism among DJs and artistes, make dem dey work together without discrimination or violence. NDJ stress say their main goal na to create fair ground where every DJ go feel valued, no matter gender or status, and dem no go tolerate any disrespect to their members. Meanwhile, one video don surface online where Burna Boy dey mock DJ Tunez after the clash, and e don spark plenty reactions for social media. Some Nigerians dey blame Burna Boy say e too dey proud, while others talk say make people wait for the investigation result before judging anybody.
