Artists For Gaza: Paul Weller and Iconic UK Musicians to DJ for Fundraiser

A group of prominent British musicians, including Paul Weller, Paul Simonon (The Clash), Paul Cook (Sex Pistols), Suggs (Madness), Jerry Dammers (The Specials), and Bobbie Gillespie (Primal Scream), will DJ at a special fundraising event for Gaza. The event, set to take place on July 27, 2025, in London, aims to provide much-needed food, water, and medicine to children in Gaza. Alongside these musicians, renowned DJs like David Holmes, Gilles Peterson, and Howie B will contribute to the event’s success. The organizers emphasize that this event goes beyond just a fundraiser; it serves as a statement of refusal to ignore the ongoing crisis and injustice faced by Palestinians. The artists aim to bring together a community united in resistance and empathy, raising awareness about the plight of Palestinian children. The event will be held at the Century Club in London, offering a unique space with multiple rooms for the DJ performances. Tickets are already on sale. This comes after Paul Weller’s previous involvement in a similar event in December 2023 at O2 Academy Brixton, where he collaborated with other artists to benefit Gaza. Weller has been vocal about his support for the Palestinian cause, condemning violence and genocide in the region.
