Kevin Federline Expresses Deep Concern Over Britney Spears’ Well-Being and Relationship With Their Sons

Kevin Federline, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, has expressed serious concern for the pop star’s mental health and her relationship with their two sons, Sean Preston (20) and Jayden James (19), in his new memoir *You Thought You Knew*. In the book, Federline claims that he has long acted as a mediator between Spears and their children but feels that the situation has grown beyond his control. He urges the public to shift their focus from the ‘Free Britney’ movement, which ended her conservatorship in 2021, to what he calls a ‘Save Britney’ effort, emphasizing that her current state is more about survival than freedom. Federline recounts alleged unsettling incidents during the children’s visits with Spears, including one where she reportedly stood silently by their bedside holding a knife. The memoir reveals his fears that the situation is deteriorating and could lead to something tragic if no action is taken. Despite these claims, Federline insists he has never acted against Spears but only sought to help his sons maintain a connection with their mother. Spears’ representatives responded, criticizing the timing of the book’s release, suggesting that Federline is profiting from her personal struggles following the end of his child support. Spears herself has previously written about her complicated family relationships in her 2023 memoir *The Woman in Me*.
