Sprints release two new singles ahead of UK in-store shows and upcoming album
Dublin punk band Sprints have dropped two new singles, ‘Rage’ and ‘Beg,’ ahead of their highly anticipated second album, *All That Is Over*, scheduled for release on September 26. These tracks feature a raw, garage rock influence, with ‘Rage’ exploring themes of anger and disillusionment with the world, while ‘Beg’ tackles power structures and societal expectations. The band has also announced a series of UK in-store shows, with performances at record stores across the country in late September and early October. The singles come after their debut album, *Letter To Self*, which was well-received in 2024. In addition, the official music videos for both tracks feature drag queens, flipping stereotypes and further underscoring Sprints’ advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights. The band is gearing up for a European tour, including a support slot for Fontaines D.C. next month. Their unique blend of humor, critical reflection, and punk energy promises to make the upcoming album one to watch.
