Judas Priest collaborates with Ozzy Osbourne for charity single to support Parkinson’s disease research

Heavy metal legends Judas Priest have teamed up with Ozzy Osbourne for a charity single aimed at raising funds for Parkinson’s disease research. Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019 and passed away in July 2025, is featured alongside Judas Priest’s Rob Halford and Glenn Tipton on an alternate vocal version of Black Sabbath’s iconic track ‘War Pigs.’ Tipton, who has also been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, plays guitar on the track, which was initially conceived as a tribute video for Osbourne and Black Sabbath. However, the band decided to release it as a charity single, with all profits being donated to the Glenn Tipton Parkinson’s Foundation and Cure Parkinson’s. The move follows Osbourne’s farewell performance in July at the Back To The Beginning concert, where he was joined by fellow Black Sabbath members and other metal icons such as Metallica and Guns N’ Roses. This tribute not only highlights the ongoing fight against Parkinson’s but also pays homage to Osbourne’s monumental career in the music world.
